2020 Endorsements

Iowa Starting Line will be compiling all of the endorsements in the 2020 Iowa Caucus for the Democratic presidential candidates on this page.

We are also now breaking up endorsements between organizations/publicly elected officials and those who are not. For anyone who has worked in the Iowa Caucus before, you know well that oftentimes a local activist who’s never held an official title can turn out ten times the number of supporters for a candidate than a state senator who has endorsed can.

However, with many campaigns putting out very long lists of activist endorsers, we thought we’d just do a break between elected officials and others, as we do not care to personally judge whether to include or not include each announced endorser. We leave those impressions up to you.

You can also view our list of Iowa staffers for every candidate and our list of candidate visits at our Caucus Calendar
